Rough numbers are fine — we confirm everything at inspection.

Where we collect

Servicing Gold Coast

We are based in South East Queensland. We buy Australia-wide. Around Gold Coast that usually means a quicker, cheaper collection.

The Yatala Enterprise Area and Stapylton are the industrial engine of the northern Gold Coast, and Molendinar, Arundel and Nerang carry most of the trade work further south. Construction sets the rhythm on the Coast more than freight does, so what turns over here is tipper-trays, service bodies, crane trucks and the light rigids the building trades run.

Land is the constraint. A Molendinar or Burleigh yard is expensive and small, and there is rarely anywhere to leave a truck you have stopped using while you find a buyer for it. That pushes Gold Coast owners toward a decision faster than it does in Ipswich or Toowoomba, and it is why the calls we get from the Coast more often start with a date than with a price.

Your options

Us, a private sale, or the auction?

All three are legitimate ways to move a truck and each wins on something different. Here is the straight version so you can pick the one that suits where you are at.

Private sale

  • Best price if you have got the time to run it
  • Weeks of no-shows, tyre-kickers and lowballs
  • You lose a working day to every inspection
  • Roadworthy, transfer and the finance payout are on you

Sell to us

  • A firm number inside 24 hours
  • No fees, no premium, no commission
  • We come to the yard, the depot or the job site
  • Bank transfer on collection

Auction

  • Entry fees, and the buyer's premium comes out of your price
  • No say in what it makes on the day
  • Weeks between the hammer and the money
  • You cart it there — and back again if it passes in

Questions

The things people actually ask.

How do you work out the price?

We track realised auction results across Australia, so the number is based on what trucks like yours actually sold for — not what dealers are asking. Body type, GVM, kilometres, service history and rego status are what move it.

What sort of trucks do you take?

Rigids from 4.5 tonne car-licence trucks up to 24 tonne, prime movers, and light commercial vans. Pantechs, trays, tilt trays, tautliners, cab chassis, service bodies and crane trucks are all fine. If you are not sure yours fits, send it — a two-minute form beats guessing.

How much does the body change the number?

A lot, and it is the thing sellers most often leave off the form. The same cab chassis is worth substantially more with a straight tray or a sound pantech on it than bare, and a working fridge unit is worth more again. Tell us what is on the back and when it was last serviced.

How fast is it, really?

A number within 24 hours of the form. Accept it and pickup is usually inside the week, sooner around Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan and the Gold Coast.

Does it need a roadworthy?

No. We buy unroadworthy and unregistered trucks. Tell us what is wrong and it gets priced in properly. Hiding it just means the number changes at pickup, which wastes your day and ours.

What if there is finance owing?

Very common on work trucks and it is not a problem. We pay the financier out directly and you get the balance. Flag it on the form so we can sort the payout in advance.

What paperwork do I need?

Photo ID, the registration certificate, and any service records or logbooks you have kept. Service history on a work truck is worth real money, so dig it out. We handle the transfer.

Do you buy service bodies and crane trucks?

Yes. A well-kept service body or a truck with a compliant, in-test crane is usually worth more than the same cab chassis on its own, so tell us the make and capacity of the crane and when it was last inspected — that changes the number.

Want a number on it?

Two minutes on the form. A firm offer inside 24 hours. No obligation.
