Truck Buyers Australia

How we price it

What we actually check

You know this truck better than we do. So rather than guess at a number, here is exactly what gets looked at and what each one does to the offer.

01

Body, tray or pantech

What is on the back is most of what makes this truck worth more than a bare cab chassis. On a pantech that is the floor, the door seals and whether the fridge unit runs and holds temperature; on a tray it is the headboard, the tie rails and whether it is straight.

What it changes: A body in good order is often a third of the value. A fridge unit that has stopped is a known, quotable cost rather than a deal-breaker.

All of it is graded against the same written standard for every truck, and those grades feed a price built from realised auction results. It is also why telling us about a fault up front costs you nothing: it is priced in either way, and finding it at pickup is what changes an offer.
